12 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Chevre goat cheese
8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar
2 oz. shredded parmesan
2 t. garlic powder
2 t. onion powder
2 t. dried parsley
2 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. cayenne pepper (opt.)
2-3 cups finely chopped pecans
Cream ingredients together. Chill. Form into balls (1 t.) and roll in finely chopped pecans. Arrange in a pile on a plate similar to a cluster of grapes. Garnish with a fresh green leaf and stem, or a pastry leaf with curly stem. Serve with round crackers.
Makes enough for a large party (about 50 balls).
Use a food processor to chop the nuts, then use the same container to blend the cheeses. Use short bursts to preserve the texture.
Freeze the balls in a tightly sealed container. Take them out an hour or two before your party, arrange them, and they’re ready to go!
